Annual Flower Ceremony - Rev. Lora Brandis (Sunday, June 7, 2026)

Unitarian minister Norbert Capek created the first flower ceremony for his congregation in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1923. He asked each congregation member to bring a flower to church—from their garden, field, or roadside. Gathered in one vase, their combined beauty was dazzling, yet each blossom retained its uniqueness. Each member was then invited to bring a different flower home with them, recognizing unity in diversity.
