Première course d’ALPINISME en AUTONOMIE | Pic de l’Étendard (3 464 m)

After a training course, here is my first independent mountaineering outing: the ascent of the Pic de l'Étendard (3,464 m), in the Grandes Rousses massif, on the border between Isère and Savoie. (August 6, 2025) 👉 Day 1: Ascent to the Étendard refuge. 👉 Day 2: Departure at 3:30 a.m., progressing on the Saint-Sorlin glacier, then heading for the summit. Today, with climate change, the mountains are rapidly transforming, and we are already seeing the consequences directly. Mountaineering opens us up to a remote world, still wild, but one that we must learn to respect and understand. Mountaineering is this wild side that resonates with me and fuels my desire to explore and discover everything around me. To prepare for this trip, we used the CSV (systemic vigilance mapping) method, which allows us to build an itinerary together by identifying areas of concern and structuring possible choices based on each individual's knowledge and skills. 🔗 Useful tools for planning an outing: CSV method: https://www.csv-news.com/ Camptocamp: https://www.camptocamp.org/ Géoportail: https://www.geoportail.gouv.fr/ 🔗 The evolution of the Saint-Sorlin glacier: https://www.francebleu.fr/infos/envir... 🔔 Subscribe so you don't miss any of my upcoming adventures! 📍 Chapters: 00:00 – Climbing to the Hut 01:45 – CSV – Route Planning 03:48 – Bivouac 05:11 – Ascent 15:06 – Mountaineering and Climate Change
