MUNYONYO: A little known site in the martyrs’ story
Namugongo Martyrs’s Shrines in Wakiso district are assumed to be the most important spots in the journey of martyrdom. However, hidden history suggests that the Munyonyo site could be holding a significant importance in the death of the Uganda Martyrs since it’s where Kabaka Mwanga made judgement and convicted his pages to death for treason.
