Sénégal : Pastef exclu du nouveau gouvernement, Algérie-France: Le Min Saïd Saïed en visite à Paris

Prime Minister Amadou Ba announced the formation of a new 30-member government. Surprisingly, Pastef, Ousmane Sonko's party, was excluded following disagreements over its role within the executive branch. Sonko confirmed this on social media. Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye is on an official visit to The Gambia. The two heads of state discussed peace, security, and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Dakar and Banjul, in a sensitive political context on both sides of the border. Algerian Interior Minister Saïd Saïed is visiting Paris, where he was received by his French counterpart. On the agenda: security cooperation, the fight against crime, migration issues, and strengthening bilateral relations between Algeria and France.
