ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ଜାଲରେ ବଡ଼ ମାଛ! Odisha Vigilance Raid Today | Vigilance Raid | Odisha Corruption |Odia News The Odisha Vigilance department has arrested Satyajit Rout, the Deputy Director of Mines in Jeypore, while he was red-handed accepting a bribe of ₹2 lakh. The bribe was allegedly demanded to extend the lease period of a sand quarry. Following his arrest, simultaneous raids were conducted at three of his residences, including his house in Rayagada, where an additional ₹2.9 lakh in unaccounted hard cash was recovered. In total, the Vigilance team has seized ₹4.9 lakh in cash.
