Spring greetings! In this video I tell you about my Bikepacking, a bicycle hiking trip that I did on 28-30.3.2025. I jumped into the saddle from Karkkila, straight after work, and pedaled a little under 30km to Koirakallio. I calmly cranked the crank and got into the mood of the trip. When the sun went down, I got my bike stuck on the slope of Koirakallio and, under cover of darkness, I set up my hammock between the trees. The evening passed while making sausage pasta and it was nice to lie down in my hammock with a full stomach. On Saturday morning, I went for a short walk in the Koirakallio nature conservation area, taking in the atmosphere of the old forest. After eating breakfast, I carefully walked my bike down the steep slope and jumped into the saddle, enjoying the sunny weather and the gentle journey. During the day, plans changed many times and I ended up driving via Munakallio towards Konia Mountain. The day was full of adventure. New roads and trails and stunning scenery. And "climbing" Konia Mountain itself was an experience in itself that required a bit more fitness - I was sweating by the way!! On top of the mountain, in the stunning scenery, I was able to cook and read a book in my hammock while admiring the scenery.
