Today, I’m going to make Mapo Tofu—a meal that is easy, simple, and can be whipped up really quickly. Ingredients 1 block of tofu 1 can of tuna 1/2 onion White part of green onion 3 Cheongyang peppers 1 red pepper Enoki mushrooms Sauce 2 tablespoons minced garlic 2 tablespoons red chili powder 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 tablespoon soybean paste 1 tablespoon gochujang 2 tablespoons oyster sauce 3 tablespoons mirin A little sesame oil 350ml water Starch slurry 2 tablespoons starch 4 tablespoons water Garlic chips (garlic flakes) Two handfuls of garlic A little olive oil All Chop the vegetables and cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces. Sauté the minced garlic first, then add the green onions and onions and sauté them. Add 2 tablespoons of red pepper powder and chopped chili peppers to make chili oil. Follow this strictly!! - At this point, you must cook over the lowest heat to prevent the red pepper powder from burning. Add the remaining seasoning mixture (excluding the sesame oil and water) and stir-fry. Once stir-fried for a while, add the enoki mushrooms and tuna and stir-fry once more. The seasoning must be thoroughly cooked for the umami flavor to explode. Once sufficiently stir-fried, add water. Once it starts boiling, add the prepared tofu. If you are not adding mushrooms, add 400ml of water. Taste the sauce; if it is bland, add soy sauce, and if it is too salty, add more water. Once it boils vigorously, make a cornstarch slurry and add it little by little to adjust the consistency. Once it has thickened, turn off the heat and add sesame oil. You may also add pepper according to your preference. Pour the Mapo Tofu over warm rice and enjoy it as a delicious rice bowl! That's it!!! How to Make Garlic Chips Slice the garlic thinly. Rinse it 3 to 4 times in water to remove the pungent taste. Soak it in cold water for 30 minutes. Thoroughly dry the garlic, then drizzle with a generous amount of oil. Spread the slices out on the air fryer tray, making sure they do not overlap as much as possible. Bake at 170 degrees for 10 minutes. Check the color, and if it turns golden brown, bake for another 10 minutes. It is done when it is crispy and turns brown!
