With a scan time of just 3 minutes, the device guarantees high-precision images thanks to an advanced automatic acquisition system capable of correcting any patient movements. This means rapid and accurate diagnoses, even in decentralized settings such as pharmacies, community centers, and local clinics. The conference brought together over 400 experts, including Italian scientists and doctors, who discussed the latest advances in the fight against blindness and vision loss. Thanks to the contribution of the Macula Committee and patient associations, this innovative technology promises to dramatically reduce diagnosis times, thus improving the prognosis for thousands of people affected by eye diseases.
