Off-White AF1 Restoration | How to Remove Yellowing

Welcome back to "Customs and Restorations with Vick"! This week Mr. Almighty shows us how to remove the yellowing on an Off-White Air Force 1. First thing’s first, clean that sole! Vick started off by using a pick to remove the gunk off the bottom of the kick, but it wasn’t coming off as easy as he’d hoped, so he sprayed on some Goo Gone and let it sit for about five minutes. After letting the spray do its thing, Vick gave the sole a scrub with the brass bristle brush and the gunk came off with ease! From there, Vick gave the midsole and outsole a good scrubbing using RESHOEVN8R solution and the brass bristle brush. Once the soles were as clean he could get them, Vick applied a nice thin coat of RESHOEVN8R Sole Revive on the sole and wrapped the sneaker in Saran Wrap. After letting the shoes sit in the indoor set up for two and a half days, the milky white color on the sole started to reappear. However, there were still some yellow spots visible, so Vick reapplied Sole Revive and gave the kicks another two and a half days in the 'Vick 2000'. As Vick mentioned, Sole Revive dries out approximately every 12-15 hours, so if your kicks need multiple days under UV rays, it's important to reapply the Sole Revive every day. After five total days in the indoor setup, the shoes were as icy as they were going to get. Time to clean the uppers! Using the RESHOEVN8R Signature Kit, Vick gave the uppers a good scrub using the soft bristle brush, and re-cleaned the midsoles and outsoles with the medium and stiff bristle brushes. From there, it was on to the patented laundry system. The Off-White's came out of the wash looking amazing, but the Almighty One still wasn't happy with visible yellowing in the uppers. Back to the 'Vick 2000' the kicks went! After 24 hours inside the indoor setup containing three 1,500 watt UV lamps and built in fans, most of that ugly yellow color was gone!
