Tender Trap - Debbie Reynolds, Marc Wilder, Frank Sinatra (1955)
My video editor settings make them look anorexic in full screen in this clip so, for a better version go here: • The Tender Trap - Debbie Reynolds, Marc Wi... Dance scene from the movie: "The Tender Trap" released November 4, 1955 (according to IMDB) . Dance scene is Debbie Reynolds and Marc Wilder and also the piano scene with Frank Sinatra and Debbie Reynolds. I just love watching Marc Wilder dance. Every time I watch this clip, I think of how graceful he was and how well he complimented Debbie Reynolds. Even though, in the movie plot, this was supposed to be the "uncool" rendition of the song, I found Wilder's dancing to be VERY cool. I saw this movie when it first came out. And, each time I saw the movie since,, I always looked at Debbie in this dance scene. A few months ago, I got a copy of the movie and watched it again. But this time I noticed her dance partner for the first time. I'm so glad I did. A graceful, generous and skilled dancer. I kind of have a huge crush on him now. P.S. A shout out to fellow Youtuber: LarsBonner, who told me the correct name of the dancer in this scene. His name is Marc Wilder (born Marcello Miarani). I had previously thought this dancer's name was Jack Boyle. LarsBonner was also a personal friend of Marc's who bore witness, not only to Marc's talent but charater. He told me that Marc was also a kind man. Thank you Lars.
