Comunicar la emergencia desde el arte - Pablo Caracol, Nuria Tamarit y Mijo Miquel
The Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) will inaugurate the exhibition "The Limits of the Planet" on June 3rd at 12:00 pm in space n-1, ground floor of the Central Library Building on the UPV's Vera Campus. The exhibition will remain open to the public until July 24, 2026. Curated by the Cor de Terra Association, the exhibition brings together works by visual artists and illustrators such as Berta Páramo, Miguel Brieva, Rubén Uceda, Ana Galvañ, Iñaki Landa, and Anna Penyas, along with texts and testimonies from the scientific and activist community. These texts and testimonies, presented in an educational way, narrate how our planet has reached a critical point in terms of climate, generating risk scenarios that affect our lives. This dialogue between artworks and narratives traces a path through recent history and the key events that have led to the current climate and social crisis. At the same time, it invites us to reflect on the different courses of action, solutions, and ways of confronting a reality that involves and holds us all responsible. Within the framework of the exhibition, various activities and talks will be held to enhance the presented content and raise awareness among the attending public, offering them new ways to approach and experience the exhibition. Cor de Terra is a non-profit organization established to create projects related to the climate crisis, social rights, the environment, science, and culture. Its approach is activist and educational, with a strong focus on ecological, climate, and social awareness, and a significant outreach component.
