Neighbors in Need - Saint Vincent de Paul Society’s Home Delivery - Documentary

Neighbors in Need is a short documentary that I shot along with my friend Taylor Rueff in spring of 2024, about the food delivery system of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society food pantry's 30th Street chapter in Indianapolis. It follows Charlie and Dianne Gardner, drivers for the delivery program, as they deliver food from the pantry to home-bound clients in the area, free of charge. We created this documentary to show a reality of our city: that food insecurity exists and many of our neighbors around us are subject to it. St Vincent de Paul strives to help those in need because they are members of our community, who deserve happy and healthy lives as much as anyone. Official Selection of the Indiana Youth Film Festival, 2026 "Neighbors in Need" Created by Jake Seitz and Taylor Rueff Featuring Charlie and Dianne Gardner, home delivery drivers Featuring Dominique McNeal, Director of Operations at St Vincent de Paul 30th Street Special thanks to everyone who contributed interviews, and to the St Vincent de Paul Society staff
