So I stopped briefly in Cheongju and quickly searched at a rest area, and decided to head to Byeonsan Peninsula! First, I wanted to see the ocean, lol. I headed to a mountain with a view. It's a shame I couldn't visit Maeil, but the Byeonsan Peninsula was just as stunning. I hadn't planned on hiking, so I prepared lightly and headed up. The trail was short, but there were more camelbacks than I expected, so it was quite a workout! After the hike, I quickly found a campsite and went for a walk. lol. I went there with no expectations, but the ocean was right in front of me, so it was so peaceful and relaxing! It's no secret that I dropped my GoPro in boiling ramen, causing an SD card error. I had to use a recovery program in Seoul to recover it. Hahahaha. It was also designated a national park (in 1988).
