CHSS Golden Jubilee 2024 (18-05-2024)

The Golden Jubilee celebration of Chandmari Higher Secondary School, Kohima, took place on 18th May at the school premises, marking a significant milestone in its history. The event commenced with the unveiling of the Monolith by Reverend Dr. Meyu Changkiri, Pastor of Ao Baptist Church, Shillong. Mrs. Asano Sekhose, Chairperson of the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. In her address, she shed light on the transformative vision outlined in the New Education Policy (NEP) of 2020. Emphasizing the importance of ensuring that students acquire knowledge with comprehension, she advocated for a practical and applicable approach to education that empowers students to achieve their aspirations. Mrs. Asenla Temsu, Principal of Chandmari Hr. Sec. School and the convenor of the Golden Jubilee Committee, extended a warm welcome to all attendees in her opening remarks. The event saw a significant turnout of alumni, well-wishers, and parents, who traveled from both near and far to partake in the celebration, underscoring the enduring impact and importance of the school within the community.
