Ojude Oba Festival Returns To Ijebu-Ode With Spectacular Age-Grade Processions

The annual Ojude Oba Festival is set to return to Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, on Friday, 29 May 2026, promising another vibrant celebration of Ijebu culture. The festival will feature over 90 regberegbe age-grade processions, ornately dressed horse riders from the Balogun families, and some of Nigeria’s most spectacular traditional fashion. Each year, the event attracts over 100,000 attendees to the Itoro Centre, blending history, culture, pageantry, and community pride.
