A quick disclaimer up front: I don't have any current video footage and would only have one photo, so I'm showing you the video footage without the update, since not much has changed on the outside anyway, and it's what's inside that counts these days. The Renault 5 offers 410 kilometers, and the Opel Corsa Electric offers 429 kilometers of WLTP range after the last update. The clever PR people at Peugeot, a Stellantis sister company, thought - that's not possible! They probably thought: We want to be at the top of the podium. So they're now advertising a range of up to 432 kilometers for the Peugeot E-208. This means the little lion now offers the best range in its segment and introduces additional benefits such as an integrated route planner and the Vehicle-to-Load function. So, what do we have here? The 115 kW drivetrain, with a consumption of 14.1-14.5 kWh/100 km according to the WLTP, gives us a range of 432 kilometers in the WLTP cycle under ideal conditions, 23 kilometers more than before. What else have the French improved? An 80% charging limit even with AC charging, new route planning, a new "color" (Okenite White replaces Snow White), and a new multifunction video camera. When calculating the ideal route, the system in the new model takes into account the distance to be traveled, the battery charge level upon departure, the desired charge level upon arrival, and the available charging stations near the destination, taking energy consumption into account based on various criteria such as speed, traffic, road type, and altitude. ...and I've already mentioned it, the PEUGEOT E-208 is now also equipped with the V2L function, which allows an electrical device to be powered via the vehicle's high-voltage battery. A special adapter is required to use the function for powering external devices (230V/16A). The adapter's maximum output power is 3 kW. The function is available up to a fixed minimum charging capacity of 30 percent State of Charge (SoC), after all, you should still be able to drive to the charging station afterwards. The adapter is available as an accessory from PEUGEOT partners. And the news is so hot, the configurator hasn't been updated yet, but we're excited.
