From Islamabad to Dadyal

Today’s journey began in Islamabad as I set off toward my sweet homeland, Dadyal in Azad Kashmir. Our first stop along the way was Giga Mall Shopping Center and from there we continued our drive. The route was absolutely stunning— stretched field's out beside the road, while towering mountains and glistening river added to the beauty all around. Soon, we crossed the bridge that marks the entrance to Azad Kashmir, and as we entered, a sweet, perfume-like scent filled the air, carried by blooming trees and fresh nature; in that moment, I truly felt I was home. We reached our family house in the village later that day, and the next morning brought more joy. We spent the whole day at home picking delicious Japanese apricots, and in the evening, I attended the opening ceremony of my friend’s new restaurant/hotel. Every part of these days was lovely and memorable, and I loved every second of it. I really hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed making it.
