Orgel-Reihe (5) - Die kleinste und dienstälteste Domorgel - Marienorgel im Augsburger Dom

It's the Year of the Organ – and we've made it our mission to showcase some outstanding instruments in our diocese – which is how our organ series came about, in close collaboration with Father Stefan Kling, organ expert and head of the Office for Church Music. This week we visited Augsburg Cathedral – home to the Marian Organ – the smallest cathedral organ in Germany. A masterful gem, played with enthusiasm, love, and skill by Cathedral Organist Claudia Waßner. She was also the one who rediscovered the music of the former Cathedral Organist and composer Karl Kraft for all of us.
