BBC Writersroom Interviews: Russell T Davies
We spoke to Russell at the Wales Writers Festival in 2019. Here Russell explains how he now realises he is writing all the time (even though he may not be physically sitting at a desk) and how he gets into the right headspace. He talks about his creative process and about writing for different audiences. He gives his top tips for other writers, how he deals with people's expectations, some of the common misconceptions he has to deal with and the hardest things about writing. He also explains why he thinks Doctor Who is the hardest show to write on television.
