The Walt Disney World Railroad the Return of The Backtrack Express 07/13/25

For the first time since 1992 the Backtrack Express has returned to the Walt Disney World Railroad. Like the previous version, this will be temporary due to the construction of the new Cars Land and Villains Land coming soon to the Magic Kingdom in the coming years ahead. For the time being I will probably take a break here and there for filming the railroad until the full grand circle loop will reopen in the near future as well as getting other shots of not only Walter but the other engines Lilly, Roger and Roy if he does return in time. Walter was out today pulling his usual Red 100 Series coaches, but this time the observation car was also equipped with a special cowcatcher, and lights for reverse operations. This is the first time I filmed the Railroad at night and or seen them operate at night in person since 2012, as they are staying open till 9:00 due to the new nighttime parade happening over by Main Street USA, I hope they keep it like that in the future. So sit back, get comfy, grab a snack and enjoy some forwards and backwards action on the WDWRR's Backtrack Express!!!!!!
