Was tun, wenn der Stimmstock verrutscht und dadurch die Brillanz fehlt oder Wolftöne entstehen?

ENGLISH and GERMAN subtitles available! Instagram |   / ateliermoerth   Facebook |   / ateliermoerth   From time to time it might happen that the soundpost moves a bit or with new instruments due to deformation it's just not long enought anymore. Mostly this is a slow process but the brilliance decreases more and more, however wolf tones might occur. Besides that the instrument isn't as easygoing anymore as you've been used to it which is really annoying. If one of the mentioned symptoms is noticed you should definitely go to see the violin maker that you trust and either set the soundpost or replace it with a new one. Here at the Atelier Mörth you don't pay extra for this service as you buy it with the instrument. So you can always reach out if you need an adjustment on your instrument. We do that since it's our main goal to have musicians out there being 100% happy with their instrument but also that way they can produce the highest quality sound which is - besides a happy customer - the best promotion.
