When the relay is activated (powered), the AC condenser fan is switched on so that it can keep the AC condenser cool. If the AC condenser fan relay fails or is no longer working, the AC condenser fan cannot cool the AC condenser. This may lead to a condenser that becomes too hot and unable to cool the refrigerant that is necessary for the AC to blow cold air in the cabin. Similarly, the radiator cooling fan relay controls power to the radiator cooling fan. When the relay is powered, the radiator cooling fan is switched on. Some vehicles have two speed cooling fans; a low speed and a high speed. If the relay for your vehicle has five or six prongs, visit the Cooling Playlist listed above.
