Reparations debates are ramping up at the national and local levels
Plans for reparations are starting to emerge across the country after various measures have been under consideration for more than 150 years. However, what will these reparations plans look like, and how likely are people to accept them? Duke University economist and author of "From Here to Equality" William Darity joins Host Saraya Wintersmith to discuss the national debate and more. Plus — Tammy Tai, deputy director of King Boston, and Jemadari Kamara, chair of Africana studies at UMass Boston and a co-author of the Boston proposal weigh in on the local efforts of reparations and what they could look like in Boston.
