BANTAM, il ritorno! Abbiamo già guidato la nuova BSA Bantam 350

BSA has announced the new Bantam 350, a motorcycle that not only brings back a historic name still etched in the hearts of many fans of the British brand, but also reveals the ambition of the new Indian ownership: to bring as many people as possible to discover the joys of motorcycling. We were able to see and ride the new Bantam 350 on the streets of London. Not an exhaustive test, but a first impression sufficient to give us an overall impression of a decidedly interesting motorcycle that fits into a vibrant segment with its own aesthetic and mechanical personality. The liquid-cooled, four-valve, 338cc single-cylinder engine delivers 29 hp and 29 Nm and revs much higher than other single-cylinders of the same displacement. We liked it for its pleasant punch and smoothness across the rev range. The gearbox also performed well. Above all, however, we were impressed by the riding position, which is comfortable even by European standards. The back remains nice and straight, and the legs are not excessively bent. The suspension is also satisfactory.
