In this episode of Cancer Confidential, Giulia Dari recounts her journey with a subtype of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC): lung adenocarcinoma. The diagnosis was difficult, with metastases already present in the pleura, liver, and pelvic bone. Treatment began, with numerous thoracenteses, pleural drainage, targeted therapy with entrectinib, and then a switch to lorlatinib. Giulia's journey is intense, because she has lung adenocarcinoma, and while not without its twists and turns, it does include a happy ending. Giulia is 38 years old, lives in Grosseto, is a teacher and photographer. Her journey with lung cancer overlaps with a long trip to Australia.
