Lake Erie Walleye and Perch: Stop Doing This If You Want More Fish

Most anglers make the same mistake on Lake Erie when chasing walleye and perch… they stay in one spot way too long. In this video, I’m out in my 16‑foot boat on a windy, brutal day, jigging structure and fishing for hours with almost nothing to show for it. The bite was tough. The wind was worse. But the lesson is simple: If the fish aren’t there, MOVE. I hop spot to spot, checking different structure, depths, and drifts until finally, on my very last stop, everything comes together.
