Installing new injector cups and injectors on a mack mp8. It is very important to clean your injector cup bore holes very good before installing new ones to get the best seal possible. Then when installing the new cups you must use only mack/volvo approved sealant on the base of the cup to head contact zone, then use white grease on the o-ring to help keep it slide in easy with like chance of getting cut or ripped. Make sure you have the proper tools to do the job also. You can’t not just hammer them in with a punch. There is a specific tool that expands the cup in the head when you are tightening it down. Also know what your getting in to before try to tackle a big job like this and make sure you have the parts and tools required.
