#GeorgianHeroes - Mikheil Tumanishvili (1921–1996) was one of the most influential Georgian theatre director, teacher, and cultural figure of the 20th century. Tumanishvili played a major role in shaping modern Georgian theatre through his innovative directing style and emphasis on actor training. In 1978, he founded the Tumanishvili Film Actors Theatre, which became a center for experimental and actor-focused performances.
