The Boys was a series we enjoyed watching, but the story hasn't progressed anywhere for several seasons. Important events seem to happen, then they disappear from the story. It repeats itself. The jokes are getting simplistic, the writing is becoming strange and lazy. I'm discussing the seasons, Gen V, and two episodes of season 5 while the final season is still airing.
