Front Brake Rotor Replacement on a C5500 GMC Topkick Duramax

In this video, I will show you how to replace the front rotors on the hub assembly; and what tools to use. Once the vehicle is safely and securely lifted off of the ground, remove the tires and brake calipers. You'll need an impact gun with a half-inch drive t60 torx socket, a 7" 3 jaw puller, hammer, torch set, parts washer, an oven, new rotors, pads, and seals. You will also need some high temp wheel bearing Grease. I also cleaned up all mating surfaces before reassembly. To reinstall the reluctor ring, I heated them in an oven to 400° for 15 minutes. This expands I'm just enough to slip on nicely with a few taps. Do not distort the metal teeth, or your ABS wheel sensors will not properly. Please wear eye protection and gloves; also follow standard shop safety practices.
