Cab Ride Along the Santa Fe Trail-Trinidad to Raton

Ride the locomotive cab of Amtrak P42 #18 on the "Southwest Chief". This is a s six program series. This installment is the second one, running from Trinidad, Colorado to Raton, New Mexico. We'll climb over steep Raton Pass and through the tunnel at the summit. Along the way you'll hear crew commentary about our trip. This was shortly after the BNSF merger, and the route still exhibited much of the old Santa Fe Railway (AT&SF) flavor.
