Maybe you’ve got one like that too. This video is a tribute to my dad. As some of you know, I lost my hero in October of last year… and this month, each day gets a little closer to the first year without him here. The good part? I actually laughed a lot while making this video. Going through photos and old clips of us, I caught myself smiling at so many memories. The missing still hurts, of course and even though a year flew by, it also feels like yesterday I was in the hospital with him and everything happened. I still struggle to go back to that house and see his spot empty, but I know time will soften the pain. Anyway, thank you for all the love you’ve shown me during this first year of the channel (we hit one year last month). Your kind, encouraging messages meant the world.. I don’t even have the words to thank you. And thank you to everyone who shared your own stories in the comments on the last post those of you who’ve been through this too. May we keep the good memories alive in our hearts, passing on their stories, their wisdom, and all the good they left us. That’s what I hold on to and believe in.
