Birth of a Barn - Frankfort, Michigan
In 1999, after retiring and settling back into Frankfort, Michigan, Terry and Joanne Herban decided to construct a monument of Joanne's farming past; growing up on a family dairy farm in Cass City, Michigan. So they did what their forefathers did before them - they went to work. They re-created and authentic post-and-beam barn to remind us of an era we should never forget. This 1999 film, produced and edited by Doug Scott, was sponsored by the Benzie Area Historical Society.
