Solfege Live No 12: Fourths and the Figured Tonal Patterns
This twelfth video covers perfect and augmented fourths and the exercises in Figured Tonal Patterns, using Roman numerals (function) and then translating them into sol-fa syllables (pitch placement). The new key of Fa major is used in addition to the Sol and Doh major keys already learned. The use of the metronome and why it is so important to incorporate it into daily practice are also discussed.
