Chapters 0:00 Self Introduction 5:03 Natural Interiors and Planning 6:59 Choosing Natural Building 9:42 Challenges faced 10:49 Cost & Duration 12:42 Myself became as a Civil Engineer Sharing the inspiring story of Uma Shankar, His contact -   / moolaroots   [email protected] Uma shankar, who is in the process of building a zero percentage cement home for himself. He has trained himself through our workshops so that he can work by his own hands for his home. He also trained his workers who were experienced in conventional construction to work with Mud. Look out for the design of the home he has made as per his needs and how he has faced various challenges in shelter making. Thannal do meet people who lead a very busy and fast life in cities, not really having time to build a home for themselves. With their genuine interest in living in a home, made of natural materials, they inquire for support in the form of consultants, natural builders, artisans, workers, material vendors, and the list goes on. But, if we see in many rural areas, we can find many owners building their home using cement and concrete, in a conventional way, where the responsibilities for building the home are handled by the owner, as per his needs. But in the case of making a natural building, he/she needs to find answers suitable for his land, available materials, and climate, to make decisions, just like in farming. So is it possible to build a home without having no prior experience in natural construction? We would recommend everyone who wants to build a natural home in India to look upon his way of working and experience he has gained through this journey. Location: near Hosur, 60-70 km away from Bangalore. Area of the house: 1,700 square feet Cost: Rs. 11.5 Lakh presently, electrical, plumbing, final coat plastering and flooring works are remaining. #naturalbuilding #mudhouse #thannal #bijubhaskar #workshop #handsonlearning #ownerbuilder #india #bangalore #howto #diy #ecofriendlyhouse #sustainablearchitecture #greenhome Our Whatsapp channel & Phone number for Thannal Natural building videos, article, workshop updates, books, visiting us, online class, information of other Pure Natural builders etc using this link -  https://rebrand.ly/whatsapp-dccdd Support us for making web series & book: http://bit.ly/2GdSHkg Our books : https://bit.ly/3fTn3IU Peep us on Instagram: https://bit.ly/2UQbytp Follow us on Facebook: https://bit.ly/2y1vhNz Do a natural building for yourself : https://bit.ly/2Z5PwW1 Study with us (Workshops) : https://bit.ly/2T8eD6Z Visit us : https://bit.ly/36480rt Apprenticeship/ Internship with us : https://bit.ly/2LvolvR Volunteering with us : https://bit.ly/2WXhTDb For Vacancies : http://thannal.com/vacancies/
