Hot hatches have always been my favorite type of car. Practical in their chassis, these vehicles stand out for being much faster than many luxury cars on the market. When we use Nürburgring lap times as a benchmark—except for the Japanese samurai Honda Civic Type R—we see the superiority of European models. Peugeot Sport's 308 GTi stands out as one of the most successful options in this field. Peugeot 308 GTI: Distinguished from the standard 308 only by its body kit, red interior stitching, seats, and powerful engine, this car manages to be both a performance hatchback and—overall—a comfortable city car.
