The engine is a 1.4 HDI, i.e. the oil pan plug is "driven" inside, which supposedly leaves all the oil at the bottom of the oil pan and therefore over time, even after changing the oil - the new oil is black (which was proven in the movie! ). Can I flush this engine to clean oil? What does the oil filter look like after flushing? How many times will the oil have to be drained for the new one to be clean? I didn't know myself, but I hope this video will help you if you want to do such an operation at your place :) I also tried to test the oil pump/suction from Lidl (Ultimate Speed UOP 12 C1 12V), but I think I would have to change the oil from beginning to end - so that the wires and the pump were full of oil and had a chance to draw everything from the bottom of the oil pan - Your suggestions and tips for the future are welcome :) In the heat of the fight, I forgot to do at least one full exchange with only the pump - so such a test maybe another time :/ Certainly, looking more closely at the construction of this oil pan, I find that changing the oil "from above" can make sense - especially when you read people's comments about new engines that are designed to be replaced with an oil suction device - and the drain from the oil pan plug leaves the large amounts of oil in the engine. The car in the video is a Citroen C3 II 1.4 HDI 2010 - mileage on the odometer is almost 330,000km (327,121km + it is not known how much the dealer reversed it at the border ;)), primary oil is 5W30 with a mileage of 15,543km, I changed it to 5W40 - no I know if it's good, but I hope that a thicker oil film will not cause greater load and faster wear of engine components, but will provide better lubrication and protection against wear? I do not know.
