একটি নিরাপদ ও নারী-বান্ধব টয়লেট না পাওয়া শুধু অস্বস্তির বিষয় নয়; অনেক নারীর জন্য এটি হয়ে ওঠে ভয়, ঝুঁকি ও অনিরাপত্তার বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা। নিরাপদ টয়লেটের অভাব নারীর চলাচল, আত্মবিশ্বাস ও দৈনন্দিন সিদ্ধান্তকে নীরবে সীমাবদ্ধ করে। কেউ হয়রানির শিকার হন, আবার লোকলজ্জা, ভয় ও সহায়তা না পাওয়ার আশঙ্কায় অনেকে বিচারও চান না। এই বাস্তবতায় ভিক্টিম সাপোর্ট সেন্টার হয়ে উঠেছে নারীদের আস্থা, সাহস ও সহায়তার একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ঠিকানা। আইনি সহায়তা, মনোসামাজিক কাউন্সেলিং ও গোপনীয় সেবার মাধ্যমে এটি নারীদের ভয় কাটিয়ে মর্যাদার সঙ্গে সামনে এগিয়ে যেতে সহায়তা করছে। কারণ নিরাপদ টয়লেট, নিরাপদ পরিবেশ এবং প্রয়োজনের সময় সহায়তা পাওয়া কোনো বিশেষ সুবিধা নয়। মর্যাদা কোনো আপসের বিষয় নয়। এটি নারীর অধিকার ও স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত চলাচলের পূর্বশর্ত। --- A safe toilet is not a luxury. For many women, it becomes a real experience of fear, risk and insecurity. When women cannot access safe, women-friendly toilets, their mobility, choices and sense of security are quietly restricted. Harassment, stigma and the fear of not being supported often keep many from seeking justice. This is where the Victim Support Centre becomes vital. Through legal assistance, psychosocial counselling and confidential support, it offers women a safe space to seek help, rebuild courage and move forward with dignity. Because safety is not a privilege. Dignity is not negotiable.
