Marc Almond - Waifs & Strays (Grid Twilight Mix) [HD]

A close friend of mine turned me onto this one back when it was released. Being a fan of The Grid (ex-Soft Cell member Dave Ball and Richard Norris), I found it interesting that ex-Soft Cell vocalist Marc Almond would have a remix done by his old band mate. My friend actually turned me onto several tunes around that time and what I found interesting was that most of the ones he played for me were the b-side dubs and instrumentals. I have to admit - after hearing this version initially, I have a hard time enjoying the vocal version. For some reason, this tune just seems to work better without them. But that's just one man's opinion and we all know what they say about those... This version is available on the b-side of the "Waifs And Strays" 12" as well as the Soft Cell / Marc Almond compilation, "Memorabilia - The Singles".
