It's a lovely winter day and I'm reminiscing on the time I decided to shoot a music video in 40 degrees all day in the cold! But aside from the weather, it was a glorious day!! My talented friend Shevi (@sheviinc) shot the video and I had a one of a kind right hand girl with me, Chaya. It was a Sunday filled with coffee, bundling up (me- not so much, cuz I was filming), subways, city vibes, a "wrap" dinner, and tons of laughter as we created the music video and tried to capture a bit of the BTS for you! For this video, I came in with a really strong vision for how I wanted it to turn out. I haven't filmed a music video for an original song in years and putting out new original music was a significant experience fo rme. Being that this song is so personal I wanted to be able to portray the emotion in a format that would be visible for the person watching. We made rain as a physical representation of tears and used the waterfall and its' movement for a dynamic movement of the fluctuating emotions of pain and faith. I love how Shevi brought my vision to life!! I hope you enjoy coming behind the scenes of this music video. I watch this back and I feel really proud of this piece of art we created.
