Trip Report: Riding the Cikuray "New Generation" Train This is a trip report on the Cikuray Train, featuring the "New Generation" Economy Class. The train runs on the route from Garut to Jakarta Pasar Senen using modified "New Generation" Economy rolling stock. This time, I'm boarding the train from Bekasi City for my journey to Jakarta. Tickets for the Cikuray Train can be booked via the Access by KAI application or at long-distance train station counters, starting 45 days before departure. On August 17, 2025, there was a temporary change in the Economy Class rolling stock for the Cikuray Train. Due to an issue with one of the premium economy carriages, one of the train sets for the Cikuray was temporarily replaced with a Modified "New Generation" Economy carriage from the Manggarai Workshop. This specific carriage is located in ECONOMY-7 (for the Garut-bound direction) and ECONOMY-1 (for the Jakarta-bound direction). Cikuray Train Ticket Price: Rp 45,000 (approx.
