#tatryodręki - akcje ratunkowe TOPR z wykorzystaniem śmigłowca

How quickly can TOPR rescuers deploy to a helicopter rescue operation, and what are the greatest risks they face during the flight? 🚁 Listen to Tomek Zając's conversation with Jan Gąsienica-Roj, a professional TOPR rescuer and IVBV guide. 👍 When heading to the mountains, always remember that help, even by helicopter, may arrive too late. Let's be sensible and take care of our safety. What should we remember? ✔️ Choose a route appropriate to your skills and mountain experience. Consider the route length, elevation gain, terrain diversity, and difficulty. ✔️ Check the weather forecast and the Tatra National Park tourist information, and in winter, also the avalanche warning. Information about current trail conditions can be found on the Tatra National Park website or at the Tatra National Park Tourist Information Point. ✔️ Leave information about your planned route and estimated return time at your place of residence or with trusted friends. Don't change your plans or inform them of any changes. ✔️ Before heading out to the Tatra Mountains, install the "Ratunek" app on your phone. It will provide the exact location of the caller when reporting an accident. Save the TOPR emergency number in your phone: +48 601 100 300. 👉 Did you know that TOPR carries out mountain rescue tasks thanks to funding from the Ministry of Interior and Administration, and that the Tatra National Park supports TOPR's activities by donating 15% of the proceeds from park entrance tickets to the park to rescuers?
