So I didn't think twice, and we went together in the car to the district to run the errand. The trip was full of surprises! Along the way, we saw a beautiful badger crossing the woods—what wonderful animals we have in the countryside! Back in my kitchen, I lovingly prepared this recipe for Noodle Soup with Ground Beef (or "sopita aguada con picadillo," as we call it). It's a very simple, economical meal, and above all, a real pick-me-up for this cold weather. And since Marcelino was so good and brought everything on the list, I spoiled him extra and started making some handmade tortillas on the griddle to go with the freshly made soup.
