Small Spaces: Berlin, Kreuzberg Flat - Full Game Walkthrough, No Commentary

You may have noticed a recurring theme by now. Yes, I do love modular furniture. I don't like decorations for the sake of decorating. To me, everything needs to have a function, and the decorative is an aspect of that, it's the other side of the coin, you can't have one without the other. And I think it that modular furniture add decoration with providing funcionality. In the case of this space, the bathroom is big enough, so the modular forniture enclose a space, gives it a purpose, a clear definition, with providing decoration that stems from different depth and shapes. The bath corner becomes an entity in itself, cozier than the more functional, cold sink+toilet space, it provides a space to stay in and relax, while the enclosed space is more utilitarian, to be used during the day, "just do your thing and go", while the bath is there to be used at the end of the day, when all the tasks are done and you can enjoy a bit of spare time and unwind before going to bed. Or, maybe "I'm just shooting pixies out of my arse", as the poet would say. --- "Small Spaces" is a cozy game from 2025 where you furnishes small apartments (sometimes even single rooms) all around the world. The game feature one small place per level, each level has two modes: "design", where you are free to buy the furniture and trinkets you prefer, and "unpack", where all the objects are given to you and you have to find a way to fit everything in the room. Each mode has its own challenges and it's worth playing. It also gives a high replay value to the game, because you can both re-arrange given furniture multiple times and design your own space as many times as you like.
