I've Never Done a Moto Climb. So I Entered One

Had the opportunity to do my first ever hill climb event and I took full advantage of it. I had. the Elevated Action Sports bring my bike from the Grinding Stone Hard Enduro out to Carnegie, CA for the Golden State National Moto Climb event. Worked out super well to be supporting IRC and their 100th year anniversary at the same time. I wish I had done one of these events ages ago. So much fun and I was hooked. Really bummed I was unable to ride Josh Hill's open bike since it had a mechanical issues, but it just got me motivated now to come back and try swinging my leg over it at another event. There is definitely a lot of hanging around and waiting for your turn to ride, but the big positive was my body wasn't fully destroyed like after the hard enduros. Saw a lot of old friends and met some new ones. Rad community that's very similar to the hard enduro world and I felt extremely welcomed. Itching to get out and hit another one now sometime!
