According to the organizers, the Parade lost about 60% of its private sponsorships compared to previous years, registering the lowest volume of corporate investment since 2018, a scenario that directly impacted the event's structure 💰 With fewer resources, the 2026 edition featured 14 floats, a number lower than in previous years. To ensure the street party in São Paulo could take place, artists waived their fees after a strong mobilization on social media, reinforcing their support for the event 🎤 This year, the Parade's theme was "The street calls, the ballot box confirms," ​​highlighting the relationship between occupying public spaces, political participation, and defending rights in the face of the rise of conservative and far-right agendas in public debate 🗳️ This edition was also marked by controversy surrounding the crowd count, with different estimates released after the event. In addition, construction at the intersection of Avenida Paulista and Rua da Consolação made it difficult for participants to disperse at the end of the celebration.
