Stagecoach South Yorkshire Gold X17 Full Route Visual- Chesterfield to Barnsley via Sheffield

Hey all! Considering how much I use this route between Chesterfield and Sheffield; it was so nice to finally be able to timelapse it! ;) Before I write about the routing, I'd just like to take a bit of time to explain the context of this route. On Mondays-Saturdays, the section between Chesterfield and Sheffield has a combined frequency of every 30 minutes, with both the Sheffield-Barnsley & the Chesterfield-Matlock sections hourly. This basically means that although they are all 'X17' buses, they are essentially two different routes throughout the week - one running from Chesterfield to Barnsley via Sheffield & the other running from Matlock to Sheffield via Chesterfield. Only on Sundays you can travel all the way from Barnsley to Matlock on the same bus. The X17 is a limited stop route, so I will only write the areas that it stops in. It runs from Chesterfield Coach Station to Barnsley Interchange via Cavendish Street, Stonegravels, Whittington Moor, Meadowhead, Woodseats, Heeley, Sheffield Moor Market, Sheffield Station, Sheffield Interchange, Sheffield Centre, Atlas, Brightside, Arena Square, Carbrook, Tinsley, Meadowhall Interchange, Birdwell, Worsbrough Bridge, Worsbrough Common and Barnsley Town Centre. The X17 is operated out of the Stonegravels Depot in Chesterfield, which is geographically located in Derbyshire, but is in the South Yorkshire division of Stagecoach.
