Hollywood actor John Turturro returned to its narrow streets, having been given the keys to the city. His father, Nicola Turturro, born in 1925, emigrated to the United States, to New York, when he was just a six-year-old boy. There, he found fortune as a carpenter. Then came love and marriage to Katherine Incerella, of Sicilian origins. From their union, John Turturro was born in 1957. Despite his fame, notoriety, the numerous films he starred in, and despite an ocean of distance, he never forgot his family, his roots, his origins. In fact, he returned to Italy numerous times, stopping in Giovinazzo to reconnect with his family.
