What would success on YouTube mean for yourself and your family? Fear gets smaller when your “why” gets bigger. Most agents focus on how awkward they feel on camera instead of what YouTube could create: More leads without cold calling More family time More financial freedom Becoming the go-to expert in your market Example: Imagine one video gets 500 views and one person reaches out to buy. That deal could be $8,000-$15,000+. Now ask yourself: Was being uncomfortable for 10 minutes worth it? Action Step: Write down: Why you’re doing YouTube What it could mean for your kids/spouse/future What happens if you DON’T start 2. Visualize and practice before you ever film yourself Confidence comes from repetition. The first time you film shouldn’t be the first time you say it. Example: Before filming “3 Mistakes Buyers Make,” practice it: In the mirror In your car Walking around your office Record yourself and watch it back Athletes visualize. Speakers rehearse. Agents should too. Pro Tip: Record 10 “practice videos” you never post. This removes pressure and builds confidence fast. 3. Diet and exercise to become the best version of yourself How you feel physically affects how you show up mentally. When you feel strong, healthy, and energized—you show up differently. Example: Agent A eats junk, sleeps 5 hours, feels sluggish. Agent B works out, drinks water, and has energy. Who do you think shows up better on camera? Energy sells. Big Truth: YouTube is not just content. It’s presence. When you look better, you feel better. When you feel better, you perform better. 4. Don’t compare yourself to others Comparison kills consistency. The fastest way to quit YouTube is comparing your Day 1 to someone’s Year 5. Example: You post your first video and get 37 views. Another agent gets 12,000. Who cares? That agent may have 300 videos already. Your only competition is the version of you from yesterday. Focus on: Better hooks Better titles Better thumbnails Better delivery Not their numbers. 5. Consistency will win over time Most people quit before it starts working. YouTube rewards consistency. Example: Agent 1 posts 3 videos and quits. Agent 2 posts 100 videos. Guess who wins? The algorithm needs reps to understand your content. Think of YouTube like farming: Plant. Water. Wait. Rule: Commit to 90 days minimum before judging results. That’s where momentum starts. 6. Constantly try to improve each day (1% Better) Small improvements create massive results. Don’t try to become amazing overnight. Get better one piece at a time. Example: Week 1: Improve your hook Week 2: Improve your lighting Week 3: Improve your energy Week 4: Improve your editing That’s how growth happens. 1% better daily = massive advantage over 1 year. Ask after every video: What worked? What was weak? How can I improve? 7. Keep going even when you feel like stopping This is where most people lose. The hardest part of YouTube is continuing when: Views are low Leads aren’t coming You feel stuck Life gets busy That’s normal. Example: Your first 20 videos might feel like nothing. Then video #21 hits. That one video changes everything. But you never get there if you stop at 20. Remember: The people winning on YouTube are not always the most talented… They’re usually the ones who stayed in the game.
