Creamy Canjica with Condensed Milk A simple, economical, and delicious recipe to warm up cold days! Ingredients 1 cup of canjica (hominy) 500 ml of water (for pressure cooking) 500 ml of milk 3 tablespoons of sugar 1 package of shredded coconut (100 g) ½ can of condensed milk Preparation Method Soak the canjica in water overnight. The next day, discard the soaking water. Transfer the canjica to a pressure cooker, add 500 ml of water, and cook for approximately 20 minutes after it reaches pressure. Turn off the heat, wait for the pressure to release naturally, and open the pot. Add the 3 tablespoons of sugar and cook for a few more minutes. Add the milk, shredded coconut, and half a can of condensed milk. Mix well and cook over low heat until creamy and with all the flavors incorporated. Serve hot and, if desired, sprinkle with cinnamon powder. Tip: If you prefer an even creamier canjica, add a little more milk during the final cooking stage. Enjoy!
